What happens to your information
The short version is that this website collects nothing about you. No forms, no tracking, no cookies, and nothing loaded from anybody else. The longer version is below.
Last updated 3 October 2026.
Who runs this site
This site is operated by Partnering Not Parenting Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 14723533, registered office 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
The company is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZB716820, and is the data controller for anything described here.
What the website itself collects
Nothing. There are no contact forms, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. No cookies are set. The typefaces, the stylesheet and the photographs are all served from this site rather than from somebody else's, so visiting does not quietly tell a third party you were here.
Links out to Substack, Kit, Amazon, Audible, Blackwell's, Google Books, Penguin, Facebook, Instagram and X do nothing at all until you choose to click one. Once you do, you are on their website and their privacy notice applies rather than this one.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical information every website visit involves, such as your network address, in order to deliver the page and keep the service running.
If you write to me
When you email hello@suzannealderson.com I hold your message and your address so that I can reply, and I keep the correspondence while it is useful and then delete it. Email runs on Google Workspace. I do not add anybody to a mailing list because they wrote to me.
If you sign up for writing or updates
The Daily Ramble runs on Substack and the email updates run on Kit. If you subscribe to either, your address is held by that service on my behalf, and each has its own privacy notice. You can unsubscribe from either at any time using the link at the foot of anything they send you, and you do not have to ask me first.
Your rights
You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask for a copy, or object to it being held at all. Write to hello@suzannealderson.com and I will deal with it within a month, usually much sooner.
If you are unhappy with how that goes, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab). I would rather you came to me first, but it is your right either way.
Changes
If the site starts doing anything more than it does today, this page changes before that happens rather than afterwards, and the date at the top changes with it.
